Ian Stevens

Ian Stevens, MA, is a research assistant in Oregon Health & Science University’s Human Electrophysiology Lab and a graduate student at the Center for Bioethics at Harvard Medical School. He received a BS in biomedical science and a BA in philosophy from Northern Arizona University and an MA in philosophy with a focus on neuroethics from the University of Tasmania in Australia. His publications focus on the ethical examination of invasive neurotechnologies, particularly deep brain stimulation devices. During this master’s program he plans to further explore the intersection of ethics, law, and neurosurgery.
