Neuroscience and society connects brain science with the real world—our culture, communities, institutions, laws, markets, health systems, and daily lives. It offers a framework for understanding how the brain shapes society and how society, in turn, shapes the brain.
Join us for the Neuroscience and Society in Higher Education Panel, a conversation highlighting how institutions are embedding neuroscience-and-society education and training across undergraduate and graduate programs. This session brings together educators who are designing innovative pathways that connect brain science with ethics, policy, health, inequities, technology, and broader societal impact.
Together, they will discuss curriculum development, mentorship, institutional models, and the opportunities and challenges of preparing students to think critically about the role of neuroscience in society. This event is ideal for faculty, administrators, students, and program coordinators interested in building or expanding neuroscience-and-society initiatives within their institutions
